The Zoo

Tim's work had their summer party today. They did it at the zoo instead of Lagoon this year. I think it was way more fun than Lagoon. The kids had a great time and it was fun spending the day with the family. The kids loved the train as usual. Kamron kept saying "choo choo" the rest of the night.

Matt wanted to ride the wolf on the carousel

Chase was all about elephants today. Even before we got to the zoo, he was saying that the elephant was his favorite, so of course he insisted on riding the elephant on the carousel

Kamron got an extra ride on the carousel while the other boys were watching the bird show. He sat for the first half of the bird show, but got pretty restless pretty fast.

Kamron sure loves his daddy!

They had face painting for all the Wasatch Electric employees and their families. Chase of course chose the elephant.

Matt chose a monkey.

Kamron by the baby and momma elephants.

What a fun day!!!

My New, Fun Hobby: Glitter Toes

Last year my sister in law showed me her glitter toes and I knew I wanted them immediatly. I waited out the winter months and got mine done for Mother's Day. I wanted to do a glitter toe party with the girl that was doing my toes, and have all my friends get together to have them done, but I DID NOT like the girl that did mine. So I decided they seemed easy enough to do myself. So I went and bought all the stuff to do it. It wasn't quite as easy as I expected, but still quite easy and fun. I haven't gotten pictures of everyone's toes that I have done, but here are a few pictures. So much fun to do!!! So if anybody wants theirs done or wants to have a party let me know! (I'm a lot cheaper than the salon!)

Memorial Day

We had our annual Memorial Day campout last weekend. This year we went to a campground in Logan Canyon. This is a duck that got lost and wandered into our camp. The dog tried to eat it so I rescued it. We dropped it off in a pond with a lot of duck families in it on our way down the canyon.

The best part about camping. Tim does most of the cooking. He's making yummy dutch oven peach cobbler.

They told us we could fit at least 20 trailers in our group site. We were barely able to squeeze these in, and one trailer didn't fit and had to be clear on the other side of camp.

This picture shows what he always looks like camping, filthy dirty and candy in each hand, but happy as can be.

Love that smile!

Even though it rained the first 2 days, we had a blast with family and friends.
