Halloween

These are all the pictures I have from Halloween. Kinda sad. Matt was at his mom's house for Halloween this year so I didn't get any pictures of him in his costume. We went to the Ward trunk or treat this year for the first time. It started raining right about the time the party started so everyone ran inside the church. There was a ton of people there, so we handed out what candy we had and took off. We spent the rest of the night at home out of the rain. Kinda lame I know, but the kids still seemed to have fun!

Kamron is 2!

My little guy is two years old already! I can't believe how fast these two years have flown by. Kamron had a fun birthday. We celebrated a few days early this year because Matt was going to be at his mom's house on Kamron's actual birthday and we wanted him there to help celebrate. Plus with Halloween being on Sunday this year, we celebrated halloween on Saturday, Kamron's birthday, and we didn't want to do both on the same day. Grandma and Grandpa Cardon, and Aunt Becca came and had pizza, cake and ice cream with us. It was a fun night!

Kamron has definately hit the terrible two's. He can be a stinker, but he is also a sweetheart and still always has a smile on his face. He is a little miniature version of his daddy as you can see from these pictures. He just decided that he is big enough to go potty in the toilet, so he has been wearing big boy underwear and pullups now. He does pretty good! We love our little guy!

Baby Scott

My brother and Sister in law, Ben and Maria just had a gorgeous little baby boy! These pictures were taken the day he was born. He is perfect and so adorable!

Snowbird

Tim and I took an overnight trip to Snowbird to celebrate our 5th anniversary. It was the last weekend of Oktoberfest up there so they had a lot of activities going on. We rode the tram up to the top of the mountain. Brrr it was freezing!!!! We lasted long enough to look over the edge and take a picture. Than we headed into the warming hut to warm up for the few minutes we had to wait for the tram to head back down.

Our favorite activity was the alpine slide. Tim kept teasing me about how slow I was going to be getting down and how he was going to beat me. He had to eat his words at the bottom when I totally smoked him!!! It was a fun little getaway!

Roloff Pumpkin Farm

Ok so I will be honest, I had never even heard of the reality show "Little People, Big World" before our trip to Oregon, but my friends invited us to go to the Roloff farm in Beaveron while we were there. My friends made me watch an episode of LPBW before we went so I knew what it was all about. We actually saw all of the Roloff family while we were there, but I didn't want to wait in line to get pictures with them. The kids had fun at the petting zoo, playing on the blow up slide, and of course picking out pumpkins.

Oregon Trip

Tim went to a different place for the deer hunt this year. It was a place that he had to hike in, so we didn't take our family camping for a week for the hunt this year. Instead, Tim went hunting and I took the three boys on a road trip to Oregon. My brother and his family live in Portland so we were able to stay with them instead of hotels like we usually do when we go to Oregon. Of course, we had to stop at Multnomah Falls. We stop here every time we go to Oregon and I probably have the same shot of the falls from each one of our trips.

I tried to get them to all look at me and smile at the same time, but that never happens.

We went to the coast with my brother and his family. We stopped at the Tillamook Cheese Factory and let all the kids get ice cream. The boys loved getting to see their cousins!!!

Kamron got a little too close to the water a few times and got swallowed up by some waves. After that he was terrified of the cold cold water and I couldn't drag him anywhere near it.

Matt on the other hand didn't mind the water or the cold. Though it wasn't as cold as the Oregon Coast usually is. I'm sure the water was freezing as usual, I didn't even dip a toe in it, but it was the nicest day I have ever seen at the Oregon Coast in my life.

He stayed away from the water but had a little fun in the sand. That is before he got drenched a second time.

Chase, Matt, and their cousin Boyd playing chicken with the waves

It was a fun trip! We sure missed dad but had a great time playing with cousins and friends!

More Camping

We went camping a ton this past summer. Sadly I didn't take very many pictures. But I think we are done for this year. We went camping with some of our friends from our Ward a lot this year. On one of our trips, our friends brought horses and all the guys went on a ride.

He knows he is cute! What a cheesy grin!

Our friend Brett and Tim getting ready for their ride.

What a cowboy!!!

California Trip

These pictures are all in the wrong order but here are some pictures from our California trip in July. I went with 2 of my sisters, Debbie and Becca and Becca's sister in law Kenzi. This first picture is actually the last picture of our trip, when dropping me off at home.

The beach somewhere in between San Fransisco and LA

All of our glitter toes in the sand

Me and Debbie playing in the water. I have a lot more pictures of us playing in the water, but being as I am too embarrassed to see me in a bathing suit, I am not putting any on here. And no, I don't have any pictures of the incident on Huntington Beach.

Debbie and Becca in front of the Newport Beach Temple. It is a really pretty but different temple, It's pink!

While we were in San Francisco, we got to go see Wicked!!! Soooo fun!!!

The picture doesn't do it justice, but somehow we ended up on one of those really really steep hills in San Francisco. Of course I was driving and I didn't panic once, not even when we were stopped going up a really steep hill and the car in front of us kept killing his car trying to get going. It took him 5-6 tries and each try he kept sliding backwards getting closer and closer. But he made it and somehow we did too.

This is the "before" picture as we were getting started on our trip. We had such a good time. I would love to do it again!

Matt's 8th Birthday and Baptism

I know this is really late, but Matt celebrated his 8th birthday in August and got baptized in September. His baptism was a wonderful day filled with family and fun.

The kids usually pick out their own birthday cakes, but for some reason, Matt's birthday snuck up on me and I ended up ordering this cake last minute without Matt's input. It fit him to a T though and he loved it.

Happy Birthday Matt! We love you!!!

We got new family pictures taken a few weeks ago. These are the ones that I am thinking about getting printed. What do you think???
